Standing at the forefront was none other than Dumbledore, the venerable headmaster, exuding an air of authority and warmth. He cradled the Sorting Hat in his hands, its fabric worn but wise, ready to unveil the fates of those who had come to call Hogwarts home. "Welcome, one and all! The start-of-term banquet will soon commence, but before you take your seats at the feast, we must first determine your houses. This Sorting ceremony is not just a tradition; it is the foundation of your journey here. Your house will be your family, your support system, and your home while you explore the wonders of Hogwarts. So when I call your name, step forward with courage and embrace your destiny!"
