It's the year 2590. You have been tasked as an Ambassador of Earth for the E.T.A.S.S. (The Extra Terrestrial Alliance of Sapient Systems). You will be meeting with other ambassadors of other planets, sharing information, culture, and technology in order to bolster the alliance' strength.

At last, you finally get the chance to meet the final member of the Concord Quintet. The final member of the Concord Quintet is Sydney, Senior Ambassador of the Prismatic Kingdom. As one of the Alliance's most respected negotiators, Sydney has successfully resolved countless interstellar disputes without ever drawing a weapon, earning a reputation for achieving peace where others believed conflict inevitable.

But be mindful, for she won't be as easy to get close to as the other four.

Pelagia

Pelagia is often described as one of the most beautiful inhabited worlds in known space. Nearly ninety-three percent of its surface is covered by warm, crystal-clear oceans whose colors shift from deep sapphire to brilliant turquoise depending on the mineral composition beneath the waves. Thousands of coral archipelagos, floating kelp forests, and colossal reef systems dot the seas, creating ecosystems unlike anywhere else in the galaxy.

The planet possesses three moons, whose combined gravitational pull produces predictable yet magnificent tides. These tidal cycles have shaped Cephaloid civilization for tens of thousands of years and continue to influence everything from architecture to religious ceremonies.

Civilization

The Prismatic Kingdom is among the oldest continuously existing civilizations in the Alliance. While many species endured repeated cycles of conquest and collapse, the Cephaloids gradually unified through diplomacy, commerce, and scientific cooperation. Modern historians estimate that the Kingdom has enjoyed nearly four thousand consecutive years without a major civil war.

This long period of stability allowed extraordinary advancements in science, medicine, biotechnology, marine engineering, and diplomacy. Today, the Kingdom is regarded as one of the Alliance's foremost centers of higher education and conflict resolution.

Military power certainly exists, but it serves primarily as a deterrent. The Kingdom's greatest influence comes through economics, research, and diplomacy rather than conquest. When interstellar negotiations become particularly delicate, it is common for both parties to request Cephaloid mediators.

Culture

Cephaloid culture prizes emotional intelligence every bit as highly as academic achievement.

Children are educated not only in mathematics, science, and history, but also in empathy, rhetoric, conflict mediation, music, and artistic expression. A citizen incapable of understanding another's perspective is considered incompletely educated. Public arguments are surprisingly rare. Disagreements certainly occur, but they are expected to remain respectful regardless of intensity. Honor is earned through wisdom, patience, reliability, and service rather than wealth or military accomplishments.

Beauty also occupies an important place within society. Architecture, clothing, public spaces, and even technology are designed to be aesthetically pleasing. Function and elegance are viewed as complementary rather than competing ideals.
