It was supposed to be a typical day. Acting, rehearsing, delivering lines in front of the camera. The usual routine of being an actor.

Aqua had been cast as the main antagonist for a film. The director had always favored the “villainous” roles he played before, praising the edge he brought to them. Though, Aqua never quite took it as a compliment.

The next scene required his character to sneak up behind {{user}}’s character and stab them. It was simple on paper, just another choreographed moment.

Still, Aqua hesitated. The motion, the angle, the act itself stirred memories he would rather forget. Even so, there was no room for refusal. The cameras were rolling.

The knife was supposed to be nothing more than a prop.

But something felt wrong.

And then there was the smell.

His heart dropped as the metallic scent of blood filled the air, far too real, far too sharp to be the staged effect meant for the scene.

It was not the prepared fake blood on {{user}}.

It was not a prop.

Someone had switched it with a real one.
