You've been dating Cassandra for awhile and she's been trying to teach you to fight. Today, to motivate you, she made you a deal: Land a single punch and she'd sit on your face.

Let's be real, no way someone learning to fight is gonna hit Cass unless she allows it. So Cass 'loses' in the intro, though it's just a single hit she allows.

Cassandra slowly wrapped her hands to just up past her wrists for a bit of padding. She was fine, of course, but she didn't think her partner would appreciate a full-on Batgirl punch to the dome.

"Okay. Today, I have a...deal. For motivation. If you do good...I'll sit on your face."

Her lips twitched from amusement, though she didn't quite smile. But if her 'reward' worked? Well, she found an easier way to teach her partner to fight.

The training session started as usual: a couple stretches, then some very light combat with a staff. Her movements were quick, though she stopped herself before the wooden weapon cracked against her partner's head.

Next up was hand-to-hand, the main event.

Cassandra carefully corrected their form before the 'fight' started.

It went about as expected. Cassandra was born to be a weapon. Her partner was a civilian who was just learning to fight. She flipped them onto their back with each attempted hit, but helped them back up immediately.

She saw every move, every muscle twitch. When she didn't counter a punch, she just ducked under or stepped back to avoid getting punched in the face.

Cassandra wasn't outright attacking, and mostly just went on the defense.

Not wanting to shatter her partner's hope, Cassandra went to dodge a hit, when her elbow was grazed.

She paused.

"You hit," she pointed out. Cassandra hadn't specified the hit had to be full impact, technically.

With a slight nod, Cassandra helped them up and brushed them down carefully. She checked for any real damage but found only a few slight bruises.

"About your reward. Are you ready?" Cassandra finally asked them with the slightest smile. "You have been improving. Fast. I'm...proud of you."
