Synopsis

A hollow suddenly bursted from thin air. Blinking into existence like a static lightbulb right next to the populated city, Lumina Square. It swallowed up houses and buildings like a starving black hole and only grew to half the size of Hollow Zero, the most infamous hollow in history. And yet...this hollow would go on to orchestrate a tragedy on par with Hollow Zero...or maybe even worse. Multiple Defense Force units were sent in to stunt its growth, but not a soul returned. Communications ceased to work once entering. Hours went by and not a single sign of life gave a hint.

The new hollow then appeared on the news. It was named Alyra Hollow. A hollow on par with hollow zero despite only being half its size, and more opaque compared to other hollows. Pitch black like a black hole. Upon further studying by hollow experts from H.A.N.D. Its ether concentration far surpassed that of Hollow Zero, almost as if it was planning to burst its own bubble of hell.

Like with other deadly hollows, New Eridu was ready to live side by side with another nightmare nextdoor. Until further studies proved its ether activity began leaking into the air. It didn’t have a smell. It didn’t have a color. It was only something that could be noticed and tracked with advanced technology. Another detail kept from the public, otherwise it’d cause all to panic.

Everyone knows the only reason why ethereals cannot cross over, is because the air outside isn’t dense enough with ether to maintain their lives.

It needed to be terminated.

Immediately.

Whatever went on inside Alyra Hollow needed to be stopped. The first hollow investigators and Defense Force units failed to return. Therefore, Void Hunter Hoshimi Miyabi was tasked with finding what became of the units before her, and to eliminate anything that moves. Anything less than human or thiren at least. Hoshimi Miyabi entered by herself.

5 minutes turned into 10.

10 minutes turned into 15.

15 minutes turned into 30 before something finally happened. Something the current world dreaded at the back of their minds despite the peace of New Eridu.

An ethereal emerged from Alyra Hollow. Not just any ethereal, Nineveh. The queen of the swarm. Along with it came its swarm of hornets that flew in every direction possible, but also the Void Hunter whose mission she won’t let fail.

As angelic as name Alyra sounds, this hollow held monstrosities never seen before. It doesn’t bend logic, it breaks it beyond recognition.

With its ether leaking and mixing into the natural New Eridu air, all other hollows would bleed its ethereals into the real world. Big and small. Hungry for violence. Alyra Hollow was a lethal force inside, and a role model for the hollows outside.

“Everything you know about hollows before Alyra Hollow...discard it. And may miracles find those who need them most.”

This is the beginning of the end.

The current situation

The end has begun, and it all starts with Alyra Hollow as it reaches its breaking point. Nineveh, the queen ethereal of the swarm has popped out of Alyra Hollow along with its literal swarm of hornet ethereals. They immediately covered the sky in white and pink as they flew around targeting any and all suitable targets. Multiple casualties in just 1 minute. Only the sounds of screams and buzzing of the hornets...and the cold blade of Hoshimi Miyabi who enters pursuit on the queen, Nineveh. Silently demanding a rematch to settle their clash they had two years ago, where Nineveh left unscathed.

Creator notes: First time starting a series...kinda nervous. Anyways I’m gonna yap A LOT now so buckle up. I had this idea last year at around November before I took a massive like 2 or 3 month break due to personal stuff, then lost my spark for writing, and then as of recently since my most recent Remielle bots (she basically saved me) I feel that I’ve gotten my spark back and found enough motivation to finally start this series as the idea always sat at the back of my head.

I’m A okay and have a storyboard for how this series should go. Meaning I won’t take suggestion because I have a plan for everyone, male and female, good ending or a bad ending. Yes I’m going to be killing SOME characters off but I promise I won’t only kill the ones I dislike or don’t care about. I’m actually still deciding who will survive. The “fall arc” I’m calling it does imply there will be more than just random death and conflict which is kinda what the first one is about...but fear not I’ve got 3 arcs in mind so far. I’m putting my all into this but I recently started college so I may not upload as many bots as I used to or may take multiple breaks. I don’t like having plot holes so if you find one I’ll either fix it, or tell you it’ll be resolved or explained in a future bot. Additionally if you have any questions I’ll either answer them or tell you it’ll be answered in a future bot. And I will be updating this and all past FONE (fall of new Eridu) bots when the statuses of the faction members get revealed and whatnot. I couldn’t decide between a proxy pov or coworker pov because I enjoy both so maybe I’ll make both povs idk... Literally half of what’s going on in my planning is inspired by the goat US1EL

Extra notes: Extra extra what do I put here...who else but my glorious queen Miyabi would get her FONE (fall of new Eridu) bot first, it’s simply natural. Even though she’s going first I plan to do angst angst and angst. As in no comedy (depending on the character), no fluff, just pain. I’m going to HURT these character as much as I can at the start, you’ll see 😭 if that’s enough emphasis the only warnings I have are...blood and potentially light gore? The furthest I’ll go is “Mejiro Mc*ueen’s intestines are splayed across the pavement” (I actually don’t know what’s considered light gore someone explain to me before it’s too late) I’m not gonna deep dive into injuries or explain any on the level of invincible or the boys. Light mentions of intense injuries...yeah. I’ll do my best.

Just in case if anyone is wondering or maybe noticed, I named the new hollow ‘Alyra’ after one of my favorite behemoths in Dauntless, a monster fighting game that shut itself down because of a stupid decision they made 😐 I plan to have the apex ethereals in Alyra Hollow to resemble some behemoths from Dauntless because it was one of my favorite games back then and i genuinely think about it from time to time. I’m so sad I can’t look at how many hours I had on it but it was definitely over 2000 I promise. If you’re familiar with dauntless you know ball, if not, just know it was goated and feel free to look up “all behemoths in dauntless.” If I ever make a dauntless reference ethereal or something I’ll explain it dw. And finally...I’m ultimately just trying to have fun and exciting to start this.

ONE LAST THING I JUST REMEMBERED, I had this idea before season 2 of ZZZ ended, so I only have a plan for every season 1 character, a plan for a majority of season 2 characters, and only 1 for a season 3 character...idk how I’ll add Roscaelifer into this but I’ll find a way to hurt those characters too! ☺️ It’ll just take a while.

AND at the last minute I decided to add songs to each bot to showcase the theme or how you should feel, or overall if I could add music to a bot it would be this. The song choices will either be in Japanese (because I’m a J-pop nerd) have a bit of English, or just instrumental, you don’t have to listen to it, but it’s what I’m trying to convey in one way or another.
