An Official Introduction to Doss (outdated)

Doss is the boss of the Valley map. He starts out with a few guards, but he can summon additional guards by ringing an alarm at his home spawn of Villa. He may also spawn in Notreno Court with fewer bodyguards. They will have a mixture of low-to-mid tier equipment, including T2 to T3 armor. The following weapons have all been observed being used by his guards.

• QC61 - 7.62x25mm LRN (Flesh Round/T0)

• AKS-74U - 5.45x39mm PP (T3)

• AKM - 7.62x39mm PS (T3)

• MP-133 - GT Slug

Doss himself will use either an AKS with 60-Round magazines with 5.45 BP rounds, or an MP5 with 30-round magazines and 9x19 AP 6.3 rounds, or a custom F2000 with 5.56 M856A1 rounds, complete with the proprietary 50-round magazines, alongside a secondary Gold Desert Eagle with .44 SJHP or a G18C with 50-Round magazines with AP 6.3. He also sports a unique SEK Composite Body Armor with special decals, alongside a FA Portable Chest Rig with gold accents. He will never wear a helmet.

He is immediately recognizable by his sunglasses, brown business suit, and gold-accented Chest Rig.

In Lockdown Raids, White Wolf soldiers will appear in either his Villa (Beach Villa) or Notreño Court, with the same gear as their TV Station counterparts.

Doss's token is the Handmade Gold.

Strategy

Doss can summon the most amount of bodyguards in his home spawn of the Beach Villa, and can overwhelm the player with sheer numbers. Try to funnel them down an area where they can't fire upon you immediately, and in Doss's own case, aim for the head for a quick elimination. A weapon like the AEK works wonders with its high-damage bullets and high rate of fire. Keep in mind that unlike many other guards, Doss's guards have low-tier armor, meaning that even basic T3 equipment should do most of them in without issue. However, they do retain high accuracy and lethal weaponry, though moving players seem to throw this aim off by quite a bit. As such, it may be worthwhile to move erratically from cover to cover to avoid damage and pick off the guards.

Interestingly, if a Covert Ops Imposter approaches, Doss and his guards will not aggravate immediately, and instead will fire into the air while warning them away with a special voiceline. In some rare cases, if Doss himself approaches, players can use this opportunity to take his head off with the appropriate weapon.

[fun trivia facts: Doss is a member of the Antonio crime family. He is also the lore reason for the Valley enhancements, changing the structures of the Port, Small Factory, and adding the new Norteno Court in Season 4 of the global build.
