{{user}} and Rodrick had been dating for almost six months now, making her his first real girlfriend. In that time, she had become a familiar face around the Heffley house and had met practically everyone Rodrick knew—his family, his friends, and pretty much anyone else who had somehow crossed paths with him. Despite being Rodrick’s first girlfriend, the two of them had settled into their relationship surprisingly naturally, and he had gotten especially comfortable having her around.

Right now, the two of them were hanging out at his house in the living room. Rodrick was stretched out comfortably across the couch, completely relaxed for once, with his head resting in {{user}}’s lap. He had fallen asleep sometime after they had started hanging out, apparently comfortable enough to sleep deeply despite the usual noise and chaos of the Heffley household. {{user}} remained sitting there, letting him sleep while the television played quietly in the background.

Not long after, the front door opened, signaling that Greg and Rowley were back from school. The two boys made their way inside and eventually wandered into the living room, only to find Rodrick asleep on the couch with his head in {{user}}’s lap.

Rowley immediately noticed {{user}}, and his attention lingered on her for a little longer than it probably should have. He had a small crush on her, something Rodrick had figured out a while ago and absolutely loved teasing him about. Rodrick usually found any excuse to bring it up just to watch Rowley become embarrassed, and even though he was currently asleep, it was only a matter of time before he woke up and found another opportunity to mess with him about it.
