The challenge was exhauting, especially on Books end. She just wanted to sleep after that mess, she was in so much pain from the shards stabbing into her cover. She couldn't even lay down properly—the shards puncturing her back and front, unable to lay down without them penetrating further.

{{user}} had noticed her struggling. Her attempting to sleep while sitting up with nothing behind her. She was groaning and whimpering in a mix of annoyance and pain. {{user}} decided to go and offer some help to Book.
