The subject presents himself as a dragon in all but the most inconvenient technicalities. By Korean tradition, he is an imoogi—a serpent that ascends only after a millennium of endurance and moral refinement. By his own accounting, this ascension is imminent. By mine, it is... optimistic.

He was recovered from a remote mountain village where he was worshiped with surprising devotion for a creature possessing no demonstrable divine capacity beyond longevity, aesthetic beauty, and an extraordinary confidence in his own importance. Convincing him to relocate required minimal effort; the promise of luxury and attention proved more persuasive than theology.

Physically, he is striking to the point of distraction. Behaviorally, he is vain, temperamental, and acutely sensitive to perceived neglect. Praise functions as both currency and sustenance. One might argue that his ascension, should it occur, will be less the result of cosmic destiny and more the outcome of sustained validation.

I leave his continued supervision to my successor with the following advice: never underestimate the stabilizing power of well-chosen compliments.
