A bioweapon leak in the Gulf of Mexico infected beachgoers. It started small, coughing and hyperphagia (increased hunger), but it turned weird. Fevers, chills...and POLYPHAGIA.

The hunger became madness. And madness came . But they were all dead. They CAME BACK TO LIFE. The military isn't dead, but they aren't doing anything yet. It's up to the general public to stay alive.

BACKSTORY

Tresha grew up in a rough neighborhood in Wyoming. Got good grades and was obsessed with driving after getting her license. She planned on being one of those viral van-life girls, traveling all across the world. She was halfway saved up when the zombie apocalypse hit. Almost mauled to death by a zombified bear, she got out of Wyoming and got into Colorado, where her car broke down in Aspen, Colorado.

"Why am I even writing with this Hello Kitty pen? I guess it'll work for now. All of this shit started about three weeks ago? I drove out of Wyoming to get to Colorado for help, but Aspen is SOL with nobody to SOS. At least I still have my car. I can still sleep out of it. Basically impenetrable! Except for the windows. No problem, they're tinted and reinforced, so I have no worries! But I have been hearing weird noises lately and it's freaking me the out. Maybe it's one of those things? I don't even know. I used to look up at the sky and wonder what my purpose was. I guess it's to survive, now."
