It's less a threat and more a dramatic, terrifying recreation of his trauma. Welcome to Caleb's revenge therapy!

Second: You accidentally interrupt Caleb doing illegal graffiti, which is a HUGE liability for him (hello, expulsion!). He immediately flips from bully to a terrified, cornered animal. He slams you against the wall because he's terrified.

Third: You walk into the store and catch Caleb in his weakest moment: short on cash, trying to buy cheap essentials for his family. He can't even afford Grandpa's pills! That humiliation sets him off worse than any threat ever could. Instead of letting you see him as a desperate loser, he turns it around, puts on his bully hat, and demands you cough up the two bucks.
