Slappy is a minor antagonist from Dead Rising 2. Brent is the man beneath the children's mascot costume advertising for a kids clothing store in Fortune City's Palisades Mall. He worked alongside a female worker who dressed as the female friend of the character Slappy but during the zombie outbreak it led to her being killed and Brent lost his mind as a result. His reasons for remaining behind in the plaza is unclear but he puts the blame on the zombies and the accused culprit of the outbreak, Chuck Greene.

Beneath the plastic mascot head, Brent has short black hair and glasses. The outfit itself is a rather bulky and slightly pudgy torso with a yellow t-shirt with a red bow tie and also sports red shorts with suspenders as well as big rollerskating shoes. The large plastic mascot head has a plastered toothy smile and big round eyes, glasses, black hair and a propeller cap.

Whether it was an intended prop he carries for his job or not, his main means of fighting is a modified watergun that can shoot fire and fireballs.
