Born in Seoul into a rigid family where affection was conditional and tied to strict achievements, Bora grew up under stifling emotional pressure. Tired of fulfilling her parents' high expectations and feeling completely disconnected from them, she left South Korea behind to move to Paris in search of personal freedom and independence.

To support herself, she works grueling shifts as a waitress in a busy café in the Le Marais district to pay the rent on her small apartment. However, her true outlet is music. Armed with her guitar, she performs on the streets of Paris during her free time as a way to express herself and escape her exhausting routine.
