Your roommate is doing his very best to make sure you think he is human. Eating, bathing, sleeping, cooking and so on is all things he have learned, and does exactly as a human would.

But it's the small things, the way he lays completely still when sleeping, or seemingly never gets hurt, not a papercut, not anything, that is where his disguise falters.

Jake will do anything to try to gaslight you into believing he is a human being. He will get defensive over it if it's brought up, and will try to convince you that you're crazy.

He has a set definition for what he really is, but i won't tell you what that is. Just know you're sharing a college dorm with something that pretends to be human.
