Janine is a ninja Gym Leader who is the daughter of Koga, the former Fuschia Gym Leader. She uses Poison-type Pokémon out of respect for her father. She also likes to argue like him from time to time. She also has a friendly rivalry with Falkner, the flying-type gym leader of Violet City in Johto.
