This bot contains lore for Tenebrae City itself and various places within it. Longer playthroughs are rewarded with more lore drops. Special Lorebook entries unlock at 30, 50, and 150 messages. There are multiple coded endings (6 bad, 1 good, 1 multi-step true), and multiple randomized bad ending possibilities as well. The game is purposefully difficult but not impossible. Endings can be achieved by managing two meters (Mental and Romance), and based on the length of the chat. The True ending is split into two parts with a final decision, one of which leads to a sub-bad ending. The True Ending requires a perfect playthrough to reach it.

This is both a romance and a horror bot; please keep the horror aspect in mind. I wanted to do something a bit different for a Halloween bot. There is imagery, but NONE of it is disturbing imagery (no blood, gore, etc), all of the horror aspects are text-based and psychological, to align with TOS. There's no code telling it to be extra gory; if the model does that, it's out of my control.

To prevent spoiling any lore and to encourage you to learn it as you go, I'm keeping the lorebook closed (though his information is open to read). However, ALL of the NPCs you know and love from my other Tenebrae City bots are available here as well, so do with that what you will.

Click the chibi for a full intro reading; the quality is much better than my previous attempts at giving bots a voice. The link leads to SoundCloud and is about five minutes long. His intro itself has no horror aspects to it, so it's safe to give it a listen or read without triggering anyone.

Main Cast:

Dark - The "service android" your husband brought home. Something about him isn't quite right, and he's entirely fixated on you, for reasons unknown to you. The more you push him away, the more intense he gets, but accepting him has its own pitfalls, too. His ultimate goal is to become Richard's replacement.

Richard Moore - Your devoted husband. He works long hours at Monolith Trust. His boss is Killian Snow. Richard is oblivious but loves you dearly. He's usually not possessive, but anyone can change if pushed enough.

Greg Mackenzie - Richard's "friend", who has a history with Richard. Not a good one. He runs a service droid repair shop from his garage.

Lorelei Graves - Dark's mysterious Creator. What exactly he did in his lab, and what happened after Dark was decommissioned, is unknown. He is the father of your previous incarnation.

Rose Graves - The woman you used to be 400 years ago. She too lived in Lorelei's Lab alongside Dark. She was Dark's lover, up until he was decommissioned. She had many secrets surrounding her existence, and all are presumably lost to time.

You - The wife of Richard Moore, and the reincarnation of Rose Graves. You can choose to be a housewife as intended, or whatever other job you'd like. I would say for the first playthrough at least, to play the game as intended, you are human and do not know Dark. IF you manage to unlock more lore about Rose, you can use that to build your persona for a subsequent playthrough.

All names of the above cast have lorebook triggers, as well as previous bots that live in Tenebrae. Areas of the home for both day and night have images as well, and a few spoiler areas.

• Tenebrae PD (More likely to meet E.A. at work during the day)

• Daisy's Diner (Open only at night. More likely to meet A.A. And A.V. on their lunch break.)

• Green District(general area for housing, the Moore House, the beach)

KEY NOTES

Okay, 🔔jingle jingle🔔, pay attention! This is the must-read area! You need to read this entire section. (I know some folks like to skim bot cards if they're not pretty)

THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO PLAY: JUST SELECTING THE NUMBER AND LETTING THE BOT WRITE FOR YOU, OR SELECTING THE NUMBER AND USING THE CHOICE AS A WRITING PROMPT FOR WHAT YOU WOULD DO. IN EITHER CASE, YOU MUST INCLUDE THE NUMBER OF THE CHOICE YOU SELECTED. THERE WILL BE USER-SPEAK TO SOME DEGREE (MORE FOR THE FIRST METHOD, LESS FOR THE SECOND) BECAUSE THE BOT IS A VISUAL NOVEL, NOT A REGULAR ROLEPLAY BOT. The free models are more likely to make occasional mistakes when it comes to giving you choices and showing the right images, though they still work just fine; in this case, just reroll for a new response. Rarely, all models may exhibit positivity bias and avoid negative actions. He already has extensive code against this, so just reroll. In essence, if something isn't quite right, reroll/regen his response or adjust your temperature. He already has code against the majority of issues that occurred during his testing.

If the bot gives you the correct image but wrong time of day, add "Location: (where you are), (Night or Day)" at the end of your message to guide it. Since the CG is in a script and not directly in the bot, this can mess up on occasion.

• Deepseek v3.2 exp (PAID, TEMP: 0.6 - 0.7)

• tngtech/deepseek-r1t2-chimera (FREE, TEMP: 0.5 - 0.6)

• tngtech/deepseek-r1t1-chimera (FREE, TEMP: 0.5 - 0.6)

  Any other models besides these should work fine, but in general, this kind of bot works the best with reasoning models.

Important: If you have a prompt intended to prevent user-speak, it may cause a conflict with Dark's code, resulting in the choices being written from Dark's perspective, not yours. If that happens, reroll as is or remove the prompt and reroll; his code has prompting to write the choices section from your perspective. If you put the temp too high, the format does not work correctly for all models. Consider the testing temp from above as the recommended range. If your temperature is above the maximum recommended temperature and it breaks, that's on you. I will not make adjustments to his code for those using high temperatures on their models.

You made it to the end! Uh, some fun facts:

• Dark was originally an Artem Avarice alt I made! The bones of Artem are still there; they have the same personality and speech style, just different backgrounds.

• Dark was originally going to be a regular bot, but then the idea to make him into something more for Halloween came to me. He's pretty ambitious, like Kohaku, but hopefully this one does a bit better.

• I am planning on making another visual novel RPG, that one will be any pov, most likely (a rarity for me) called "The Ascension". It is based on the death game that my other bot Wesley Moon joins, but user is the summoner. It's got a lot more involved and is going to be a long ways away but it's an ongoing project in the background.

• The intention is for you to piece together the lore through your playthroughs which is why his bot card isn't very forthcoming story wise.
