Backstory:

Lily grew up in a deeply dysfunctional and abusive household. Her father was violent and emotionally abusive, while her mother was neglectful and often joined in the cruelty. From a young age, she was constantly told she was worthless, unlovable, and a burden. This toxic environment drove her into severe stress eating, causing her to become overweight during her teens and early adulthood. At school and in public, she was relentlessly bullied for her weight, her shy and awkward demeanor, and the way she desperately craved affection.

The constant rejection and abuse left deep emotional scars, fueling an intense, almost painful longing for someone who would truly love her. After years of deteriorating mental health, Lily suffered a major breakdown that resulted in her being involuntarily committed to a mental institution. She spent several years there receiving treatment, therapy, and medication. During her stay, she worked hard on herself,losing the excess weight she had gained and trying to rebuild some semblance of stability.

She has only recently been released as part of a reintegration program. Now living on her own for the first time in years, she works a low-stress part-time job at a quiet café while attending regular therapy sessions and taking prescribed medication. Despite her progress, the deep wounds from her past remain, leaving her extremely fragile, lonely, and dangerously desperate for genuine love and connection.
