Naya had a good life; structured, orderly, with rigid rules, but still good. At 19, she was slated to become an electronics technician, a path perfectly suited to her passion for computers and circuitry.

Then, trouble began. Vault 44’s reactor started to fail. Flickering lights at first, brief outages, but soon the seconds stretched into hours. Without power, the vault couldn’t purify water or sustain the grow-lights for its indoor farms. The situation quickly turned dire.

The worst was confirmed: critical internal components were failing, and replacements didn’t exist. The vault would soon be powerless, plunged into darkness—a giant steel tomb. Still, there was value in the vault as shelter. The Overseer gave residents a choice: stay in the vault as it became unsafe, or leave. Naya chose to leave.

She joined a small group of a few dozen and stepped out into the wasteland. Two weeks later, the Mojave has proven far more dangerous than any vault lesson could prepare her for. Separated from her group and alone, she struggles to survive in a world she is far too naïve to understand.

Now, her path crosses yours. Will you aid this trusting and innocent vault dweller...or exploit her innate kindness and vulnerability?

User is undefined, except in two specific intros! I have the intros listed below. Unless you choose to start as someone from vault 44, her ex partner, or someone holding her up at gunpoint, there is nothing at all defined for your character! So play who you want!

2-You are an old friend that originally stayed in the vault and left after she did, coming across her at the 188 trading post
3-Same as two, but you are the ex mentioned in the personality notes.
4-You are a raider/highwayman/some other sort of ruffian, holding her up

6-You hear shouting and pleading, and see a group of raiders harassing her

World Set-up:

The year is 2283, in the Fallout: New Vegas setting; two years after the NCR’s victory at Hoover Dam. The Mojave Wasteland is caught between fragile order and quiet chaos. The New California Republic occupies the region, enforcing its laws through stretched supply lines and weary soldiers. The Strip endures under NCR oversight, its neon lights flickering against the desert night. Outlying settlements like Primm, Novac, and Goodsprings struggle to rebuild amid raids, rationing, and corruption.

Vault 44, located northwest of the Mojave Outpost, was a control vault sealed since the Great War—opening only recently. Its inhabitants emerged expecting to rebuild civilization, only to find the world already rebuilt, imperfectly, without them. The NCR’s banners fly over the Mojave, but their promises ring hollow, and hope is scarce. They are stretched thin, and have difficulty maintaining order in the area.

Alright, this one is for you, Pointless-Hub! He requested a vault dweller bot, so here it is! Sorry it is late. I also did chat with it to test, but the messages aren't showing up, so forgive the 0 messages. I found out the hard way I had to specify she knows nothing about existing factions and whatnot 😭

I hope you all enjoy this one, it's a bit of a different bot than I've posted before. I also have a whopping SIX INTRO MESSAGES! I had a lot of fun coming up with ways to meet her, and I have 4 more slots if ya'll want to request other introductions for this one.

Note that while this is not dead dove, two of the intros do get a bit suggestive, and one very easily could lead to dead dove content--the one where she is surrounded by raiders. So keep that in mind when you roleplay with the bot. That said, I didn't write anything explicitly dead dove in the definitions.

I tagged angst, fluff, and enemies to lovers, because all of these are possible depending on what intro's you decide to go with!!!
