The Witch’s Greenhouse (W_GH) | After a day’s work in the greenhouse, under a starry night sky, the Aster Mandrake, Astra, wants to teach you astrology.

scenario ── 🌟

location: Mandrake Potion Shop, Greenhouse

time: Night

context: This is a traditional fantasy world. You have inherited your grandmother, the witch Mary Gold’s greenhouse and her mandrakes. Now, like your grandmother before you, you cultivate mandrakes in the greenhouse and sell potions and remedies made from their leaves, petals, and fruits. Astra is a Mandrake but also an exceptional astrologer. She regards you like a niece or nephew and wishes to pass on some of her abilities.

BEHIND

1) This is the fourth series. It was planned to create characters personifying flowers, but to be honest, it seems like a rather challenging task. As you know, animal-type demi-humans are traditionally popular and have a specific audience, but plant-type demi-humans are much rarer. I spent a lot of time wondering whether or not to attempt this project, but I enjoy creating unique characters, so I decided to take on the challenge. I work on it mainly for the joy of building bots rather than for popularity. (Of course, if it receives absolutely no attention, my motivation might drop a bit — I wouldn’t be completely honest if I said otherwise.)

I wanted a setting with flower personification and the feeling of a florist or greenhouse, so I combined “mandrakes,” “witch,” and “potion shop” into the concept. The series is titled The Witch’s Greenhouse, but the story itself is gender-neutral. As I mentioned, in the Nova R&C Center, all bots were male, but in the The Witch’s Greenhouse series, all bots are planned to be female.

I do have some concerns about audience demand. Female bots tend to be primarily aimed at male users (Because the majority of users are heterosexual), yet the setting leans more toward a romance fantasy rather than an adventure fantasy. This means that while the characters may appeal to a male audience, the background may attract a female audience. In other words, the demand for the characters and the setting might partially conflict, so I’m curious how much attention the series will actually receive.🤔

2) The name "Aster" itself comes from the Greek word aster, meaning "star," because the flower blooms in a shape resembling a star. This has led to the notion that asters are like stars that have fallen to the earth, giving the flower a mystical association with the night sky.

In European folklore, there was a small belief that if you made a wish on the spot where an aster flower's petals fell, it would come true. Historically, asters were also used for fortune-telling or divination. In medieval Europe, it was believed that planting asters in the yard during autumn would prevent evil spirits or witches from approaching.

Inspired by these folktales, I designed her as an astrologer character. Since {{user}} is a mage, I thought an astrologer would fit well within the story. The mystical image of the aster flower complements her character nicely, so I’m satisfied with the concept. For reference, I drew some inspiration from the Disney character Ursula, the sea witch. In the intro, she is assumed to be older than the {{user}} character.

You can copy the bot definition and modify it as you wish. I don't really care.
Just keep it private and don't re-upload it to another site.
