I usually post on weekends idk if anyone noticed but this weekend i didnt because so much happened

so my school does a little culture show/ performance thing called Walk It Out once a year and its pretty much how it sounds. You show up repping your culture (if you're a part of the performers) and strut on the stage, hit a little pose for the cams YKYYKKK and then perform a dance or sometimes its singing. Every region has its own performance and this year there was a new region for african-american students.

last year there wasnt enough students in Black Student Union to have a group for Walk It Out so we had NO IDEAA what was coming when we performed last year. Basically, my region's group leaders had some long-term beef with one of the leaders of Black Student Union ig like personal beef and it had nothing to do with Walk It Out. every rehearsal for dances/walks in our school's dance room or little theatre they were always FIGHTINGG

and it SUCKEDDD cuz i have lots of friends in both regions. Most people in my region have family connections with me so im close to them because i kinda have to be cuz we see eachother outside of school n shitt, the people in the other region im friends with are like way closer to me so it was sooo hard being in the middle of it cuz on one hand, it's my family's reputation and then on the other MY OWN FRIENDS so it was soo difficult but i just didn't interact or called them out when they did some slick shit

AND BROO its a big event like 500+ guests outside of my school come to watch. it's very big and so if you're a performer, you'd have to be preparing MONTHSSS in advance so all those months there was like a LOT of hostility

MIND YOUUU i didn't realize how much it was until a few days before it so i was clueless. The day of was sooo messy

I was dripped out HEAD TO TOEEE. i was NOT gonna step in the spotlight and not shine like a motherfucking disco ball so i made SUREEE i was looking good before the performance. Every region goes in a certain order and African-American went first and in that time i was still in the changing room. ig my region's leader mean-mugged the girl she was beefing with and it started. WHY THE WLD YOU DO THAT FIRST OF ALL LIKE UGHHHH U JS RUINED THE NIGHT BRO

anyways so some time passes, im rehearsing right before we go up and my region's leader is just being SOOO mean like??? and shes my friend bro we go WAYYYY back. I asked her a question because the event kind of goes like this:

Your region leaders go up and announce what the performance will have. So the countries of the students in that region, the types of outfits you will expect to see + key elements, then they go on to explain the dances / other performances in the order they will go in.

So first, you walk. you are assigned a partner to walk with since the stage is huge. One person enters from one side, the other person from the other. You walk down the stage pose solo, then walk towards each other to meet in the middle where you pose together, then continue walking until you and your partner are now on the opposite side of where you started to give the whole crowd the same view of both outfits before walking off.

the dances get announced, then music plays and you dance with your assigned group that has been rehearsing for months together.

other performances like singing / playing instruments come last.

so i asked a question to my leader regarding the walking portion, asking how much time each duo had on stage because i wanted THE MOST TIME POSSIBLE and i just got yelled at to get in my spot in the line like um okay watch me knock all this shit over RNNNNN ugh ts pmo so bad guys

After we performed, the performers get fed and all meet in a backroom. bro there was sm whispers and IDCC my region leader was dead wrong but it got so bad to the point where the black student union leader wanted to fight my leader??? SO LIKE NOW THEY WERE BOTH DEAD WRONG BUT MY GROUP LEADER WOULD HAVE GOTTEN HER ASS KICKED SO SHE RAN AND THEN THERE WAS JUST A BUNCH OF CHASING AND SHIT AND HOLYYY

the pizza was good asl tho i was so hungry so i ate everything they left cuz #Lol LOSERSSS missed out on some good ass food tryna fight eachother.

moral of the story: dont fight man or like you can fight just make sure to eat ur food before u do

anyways next day (today) a bunch of people got called to the office regarding the situation. people from my region and the other LIKE!?!?! BRO THE NIGHT WAS LITERALLY SO GOOD WHY DO THINGS LIKE THESE ALWAYS HAPPENNN

anyways idrc i got sm good pics and met sm fine shyts and even hit a lil date afterwards?? it was to crumbl cuz i said i was craving some so we both went and i felt sooo out of place cuz i was wearing lots of jewlery like on my head and it jingled whenever i moved, plus i had on a dress and bro it was superrr flashy. the people inside looked at us both so weird but whatever cuz we mogged and were hot asf tg so HAHAAAA

anyways the day was great (besides the drama) and crumbl is indeed overrated guys. idrc that much tho cuz he paid not me. but yeah it was such an aura farm cuz all my teachers today were d1 glazing me like STAWPPPPP thank yeww i hope i get front cover on the school newspaperssss
