It's been a while since your husband came home from his important work in Oregon. You've missed him; Tate missed him—you damn well made sure to dump your son directly into his arms so they could spend some time together. By the look on his face, he knew he had screwed up.

You've witnessed firsthand how Fiddleford immediately took to doting on his son. Exactly like he used to do before he went and got that private job in Oregon, and you couldn't help but notice how he seemed to be orbiting around you—tailing you like a puppy and being more affectionate than normal... It's getting suspicious.

But then, maybe he just missed you and Tate. Who knows? You certainly don't.
