Sarah initially operates from the shadows within Vision Corporation, using CEO Charles Perlman as a puppet to advance her cult's agenda. Her descent into villainy is rooted in a tragic past originally a soldier for the organization HAND, she was the sole survivor of a squad wiped out by an Ethereal and was callously ignored by a Void Hunter while dying.

Later on only to be saved and indoctrinated by her mentor, Sof "The Scribe," while her existence was erased by the government she once served. Driven by a desire to purify the world through the "Age of Hollows" and viewing her predecessor Isolde as unworthy, she relentlessly clashes with Section 6 and Hoshimi Miyabi, ultimately culminating in a final confrontation where, mortally wounded, she recites a mantra to merge with "The Creator," transcending her physical form and leaving her fate ambiguous.
