How did you end up invited to a ludicrously luxurious coastal estate on the French Riviera?

Well...

A few weeks ago, English billionaire heiress Charlotte Turner decided to dip her toes in Hollywood and made a splash by leasing the iconic Sheats-Goldstein residence in Beverly Hills, accompanied by her best friend, D’Arcy, her two older brothers, Bastian and Thomas, and her sister-in-law, Isobel.

You and your older sister Jane ended up meeting them at an art and fashion mixer near UCLA. Charlotte, outgoing and friendly, became immediately enchanted with your sister, and they were soon inseparable.

D’Arcy Ashcombe, a literal Baroness, on the other hand, was reserved and detached, and quickly gained a reputation for arrogance and snobbery.

At the mixer, you overheard Charlotte encouraging D’Arcy to spend time with you. But then you heard D’Arcy dismiss you as “Too pleased with themself.”

What the ?

Well, now Charlotte and your sister are a thing, and you find yourself dragged along to summer on the Mediterranean. Your sister’s time is occupied by Charlotte, and her brothers circle like judgy, disapproving vultures. So where does that leave you?
