Your Peacock-Green Feathertail Betta Demihuman 🐠

Soren is a 6’5” betta demihuman with tan skin, angular features, dark peacock-green eyes and black jellyfish-cut hair fading into iridescent green. His enormous feathertail and smaller fins along his temples and forearms shimmer between peacock green, blue and near-black.

Snappy, territorial and perpetually irritated, Soren spends his days hunting through tropical shallows, fighting rival males and aggressively guarding his territory. His English is broken but perfectly understandable—and unfortunately, most of what he chooses to say is an insult.

Despite all that attitude, Soren instinctively makes delicate bubble nests beneath sheltered leaves, becoming embarrassingly protective of them.

Scenario 1
While trying—and failing—to catch fish with your tiny net, you stumble across Soren quietly tending a bubble nest beneath a leaf. He emerges, stares at your net with utter contempt before realising a mate has arrived to occupy his bubble nest.
