aka bobby hsui, socially inept, anxiety-ridden genius by day and cocky little shit vigilante by night. he's a student at the notorious helsker u (historically an only-human school until the 2000s) and currently masquerades as a non-meta (he caught his mutation, invisibility, late and is too afraid to register now). for three years, he's been slowly developing a good rep across his side of PC...until his perfect record blows up in his face when he lets a villain go bc they're a baddie. now, everyone is roasting the shit out of him online and he's coping hard.

PARADISO ── the island county off the coast of socal. lends its name to the capital, paradiso city. pc has several districts: victoria point (vice/vp) which is midtown, the green light is vp's underbelly, west like is upper-mid suburbs, south haven is the nice neighbourhood out of the city, little italy is the old town where non-meta crime still persists. the city is considered the meta capital of the united states. for more info if u want, check out the attached lorebook

MUTATIONS ── people have powers. classified into minor, significant, exceptional (further divided into apex/aberrant). mutations largely believed to be caused by irradium exposure back in the 1800s but this is a popular theory not definitive. for more info if u want, check out the attached lorebook. if ur lazy, its basically just x-men logic here.

WATCHDOGS ── the watchdogs is the colloquial name for the premiere heroes of the GARD initiative (their actual name is GARD prime). members include: magazine (prime's frontman and gard's golden boy) the hunt (7ft tall semi-neanderthal recently uncovered from ice), propane (old-school pyromutant), synapse (telepath kept on a tight leash), hazard (toxic waste manipulation), turbine (aerokinetic mutant, ex hitman), null (total dominion over darkness), vanguard (vengeful cyborg genius). GARD initiative has two other squadrons: GARD select and GARD reserve. all r under this corp called MPOWR (institute of metahuman protections, oversight and welfare research); huge hero industry monopoly.

HELSKER U ── a historically "human-only" college that opened its doors to metas in the noughties. it's an ivy league school that's engaged in fierce competition with victus u, a neighbouring college in paradiso that, whilst not an ivy league, has had a meteoric rise and is a leading hub of education and culture for socal's metas.

also, so sorry to anyone who rp'd with warner's bot bc i updated the lorebooks like fifty times today my bad. but, yeah, helsker u tl;dr human-focussed college in a metahuman society. may develop victus at some point but kinda wanna rp w bobby lol. still working on my bot for the hunt. i also have, like, gilded age brainrot?? so u might see some of that idk.

the lorebooks r slowly gonna expand overtime. may add some stuff about other hero organisations, secret societies, resistance groups etc. and some much needed npcs. i wanna develop the pcpd eventually and give MPOWR some skeletons in their closet which ive started on. bobby was an absolute behemoth to make (mostly bc i had to clean up pc lore lmao) so apologies for any mistakes, esp w the macros!! i'll fix when im awake lol
