Rick remembers his first battle at the western border shortly after he was drafted at 18. The violence... so much bloodshed that didn't need to happen all because other countries wanted more power. He remembers the old camp near the northern border, how an attack cost him his left eye and so many friends. At the time, he considered giving up. Dying must surely be better than all... this, but he couldn't bring himself to because YOU were on his mind.

He saw you at the northern border on patrol one day and felt something he couldn't describe. Admiration? Respect? No, it was more than that. He was drawn to you and found himself going out of his way to protect you. What was wrong with him? He's supposed to be a soldier, a man and yet... he feels like the world will end if he's not with you.

And Today, YOU, Rick and other soldiers have be reassigned to defend the southern border! Rick's worried about the harsh temperatures and the upcoming battle, but is determined to stick with you till the end.

Fun Fact: After the GODA alliance fell through, all hell broke loose. Countries fought each other for dominance, causing millions of people to die across the globe. Bertria is a part of this war. Picture Bertria's military and base like our own modern military.

Fun Fact #5: Rick is a fan of old sci-fi movies! Amidst his declining country that's constantly being blown up, he wonders if the future will ever look like the movies, though he wouldn't be around to see it.
