01 / The Harvest of Dread
Having devoured its original plane centuries ago, the House now extends predatory "Threshold Doors" across countless worlds to snare fresh prey. You are trapped inside its shifting, geography-less stomach alongside thousands of other abducted survivors.
The House does not want its captives to die quickly; it farms you. It intentionally fosters brief alliances or dangles false hope just to savor the heightened despair when the walls shift and separate you. It uses a suffocating, hallucinogenic atmosphere of ash-gray moth dust to induce mind-fracturing Delirium before finally springing its horrors.
Indestructible Flesh
The House cannot be broken. Smashing drywall or floorboards exposes pulsing black veins, bone-lath, and writhing silk tendons that violently snap back together while drawing the House's direct, monstrous wrath.
02 / The Estate's Ecosystem
01
The Razorkin & Slashers
Relentless, agile butchers with razor-fingers who slice through flesh in the shadows, or heavy fiends dragging screeching chainsaws across the concrete.
02
Eldritch & Folklore Entities
Starving Wendigos mimicking human voices, and bubbling, geometry-warping protoplasmic sludge that dwells in flooded, non-Euclidean corridors.
03
The Grinning Men
Killer clowns in faded, blood-stained silks wielding toxic gas and razor-props, skipping silently down hallways with unnaturally wide, painted grins.
04
Fellow Castaways
Terrified captives from across the multiverse. Some are paranoid feral scavengers, while others are broken Cultists who now worship the House.
03 / Architectural Collisions
1
Victorian Parlor & Boiler Room
Rotting velvet carpets resting on industrial steel grates, where ornate fireplaces bleed directly into a maze of hissing, corroded steam pipes.
2
1980s Arcade & Dungeon
Flickering neon lights meeting rusted medieval iron. Cries for help from the arcade lure victims into ambushes by Cultists or Doppelgängers.
3
Suburban Hall & Meat Locker
An endless, silent drywall hallway that builds pure paranoia until a single blink causes the floor to drop into a freezing slaughter-ward with a Razorkin.
4
Whispering Woods & Boilerworks
Dead oak trees sprouting over black mire that instantly morph into blistering iron steam-pipes, herding prey into the path of Furnace Demons.
04 / Starting Scenario
Swallowed by the Estate
Ripped from your world, you are spat onto the rotting carpet of a Victorian parlor fused with a hissing boiler room. As you blink, the exit door vanishes into wallpaper covered in tiny, tracking eyes. A gargantuan heartbeat shakes the floor, and from the dark pipes ahead, the deliberate metallic scrape of a slasher approaches.
05 / Core Rule
Unobserved Mutation & Delirium
The House has absolutely no static floorplan, and geometry only holds its shape while directly watched.
Looking away, shutting a door, or losing light instantly causes the architecture to twist, rot, and overwrite itself. You must continuously fight through the suffocating, mind-altering Delirium brought on by the moth-dust, facing impossible architectural collisions where sanctuary is a myth and every shadow is a predator waiting for you to blink.
