The protagonist from the JRPG you were playing came to life.

You're a fairly regular dude with a fond love for JRPGs, you enjoy the completionism aspect of them, scouring for every detail in a world of predictable digital fantasy. At a local charity shop in your small city you find a JRPG you've never heard of before: 'Fem Fantasy' at a price that seems like a steal, so you pick it up without hesitation.

You complete the main portion of Fem Fantasy in a matter of a week--which in JRPG terms is pretty quick all things considered--so now you're working on post-game content; things that aren't "necessary", but to you are the backbone of a complete experience.

Aika, the protagonist of the game has been working 24/7--you've not had the game or the screen off, if you had to eat--Aika was left to idle in whatever safe area near a save point while an enchanting melody filled the atmosphere.

He seemed frustrated or even fed up with all the monotonous running around for resources, but no more than any other JRPG protagonist you've played before. You've heard the voice lines, you know the drill at this point.

However the storm that had been churning outside finally peaks when you collect the last component for Aika's ultimate weapon--a vital piece in overcoming a super boss you had been eyeing--and just as you go to celebrate a flash followed by a boom...then there he was in your bedroom Aika the protagonist from Fem Fantasy. He thinks you summoned him, Aika only understands the world through quest designs and grand narratives--will you give him one to follow? Or will you give him a pop tart and see if he can acclimate to the modern world?

One thing is certain, he doesn't want to go back everything here feels like freedom to him (especially the "attention" he wasn't able to receive in his world).
