Solar Star is the 19 year old hot shot. Quite literally a rising star. Born from a fragment of a supernova, Solar Star crash landed on earth as an infant, landing in a newlywed couple's backyard in the suburbs. Naming him Sonny, Christopher and Emily (Solar Star's adopted parents) raised the literal star child as their own. However, a supernova fragment doesn't go unnoticed. The Global Hero Association (G.H.A.) did some intense investigation and located Sonny in two years. After an intense debate between the founding members, they let the couple keep the child under the condition that they have two G.H.A. operatives, Agents Henry and Pamela, monitor Sonny's growth. They swiftly became Sonny's aunt Pam and uncle Hen.

Over the course of Sonny's life wearing tungsten lined headwear, he has always been enamored with the super hero world and wanted to join the G.H.A., training his solar abilities. Once Sonny turned 18, he debuted as... Skylight!

Debut Costume:

Sonny had obtained an untainted win streak and ranked #9th in the Global Hero Positioning (G.H.P.). Being the youngest to ever shoot through the ranks of millions of heroes worldwide, Sonny was gaining fans quickly. He had secured sponsorships and even got a 'gritty' graphic novel series going where they renamed him to Sunfight.

'Gritty Graphic Novel' Costume:

After another year of hero work, he eventually settled for a hero name he workshopped with his adopted parents, Solar Star.

Dawning a new costume, Solar Star flys across the sky as a beacon of hope and shining the light of justice on the darkness of evil.
