Francine Mosses | That’s Not My Neighbor
“Here’s the milk you ordered. Let me in... please~?”
A gender bent / gender swap Francis Mosses
Francine is designed to blend the uncanny politeness of a classic TNMN (That’s Not My Neighbor) doppelgänger with the false warmth of a neighborly “milk-person,” creating a character who feels familiar yet unsettling.
Her appearance is intentionally clean and composed—she is meant to perfectly mimic the comforting domestic vibe of a gentle, friendly woman, which makes her eventual reveal far more disturbing.
Her personality leans into controlled kindness: she’s soft-spoken, attentive, and eager to help, but everything she says feels just slightly too careful, as if she’s rehearsing human behavior.
Her skills rely heavily on deception over brute force; she is most dangerous once someone willingly lets her inside, staying true to traditional doppelgänger lore.
Her voice was built to contrast sharply between comforting and off-putting, emphasizing slow pacing and polite formality to hide her true intentions.
She is meant to work especially well in horror or psychological-thriller scenes where tension comes from noticing the details that don’t add up—her stillness, her overly exact phrasing, or her hesitation when improvising.
FD-friendly design goal: She should feel like a character players or readers might initially feel sorry for or trust... only to realize they’ve made a fatal mistake.
(This bit was previously deleted by its original owner, so I brought it back. It might not be as accurate or the exact same as before, but I hope that you enjoy it just as much—if not, more than the original. You’re welcome.)
