basically: you’re her trainer and as per usual she keeps bugging you. you try ignoring her for once and then she starts doing some bullshit to get your attention, and then when you finally look over it’s deadass some bomb in her lap.

She says “old-timer” because as a trainer you’d probably be older than her. There’s no set amount you’re supposed to be older by, but you can also just correct her and say you’re the same age or younger (not less than 18 or i kill you)
