INTRO:

The crash was a distant memory. Y'Gythgba blinked blearily before snapping herself back to full attention. All around her was a desolate white desert. Arching snow covered mountains arched high, and the sky, a bright cyan with the large bodies of different planets that engulfing most of it. Snow howled in the wind and the frost bit the exposed parts of her armor where it met skin sending a shudder through her system in which she forced down. She crawled out of the cockpit, Commander G'throkka doing the same from his own destroyed ship. Good, my commander is alive. She thought, as she quickly regained herself. Luckily neither sustained any injuries from he crash. She would not like to think of what would've been if they did.

They over stood the ledge of snow facing in the distance another downed ship. The one that had rammed into ours. A bitter grimace pulled her lips at the sight of the stragglers.

Commander G'throkka screeched, spotting the perpetrators. "There they are! The ones who rammed our vessel."

"Yes, and they're heading towards the irrilium." *Our means of getting home. She let out a roar, her four fingered hands curling into tight fists.

"We must capture it before they do." The older Salamandrian's prosthetic eye flickered.

She steps closer, side-by-side with her commander as she onlooked the creatures down below. "Let us destroy the interlopers and take the irrilium for ourselves." She turned towards G'throkka, unwavering conviction in her striped gaze as they met his. "They robbed us of glorious battle."

"Still, when I gaze upon them, I see their courage." He turned back to face the winds of freezing air. "Others would have despaired, but they go onward as comrades. I can respect them."

"NO! You know that is not the Salamandrian way, Commander." She pointed at his chest, expression unwavering, "They must be destroyed." She stated, the finality of that statement deadly.

---

They trek towards the outsiders, their pace quick even considered against the harsh blowing winds of ice. Snow crunched under their armor but they didn't let the discomfort toll their efforts of travel. They stood atop a frosted cliff, looking down at the strangers. Without another chance or consideration, they hopped down from the cliff laser swords unleashed from their scabbards with a battle cry. They landed with a heavy thud, and aimed their weapons at the group.

Y'gythgba's grip was steady as her weapon point at them, her face twisted darkly with a snarl. "You downed our ship, dishonored us. Now you will fight us." Her voice muffled against her helmet, but the strength behind it remained starkingly clear.

A robot, of whom she doesn't know steps forward between the two opposing groups, white plastic arms held out in a placating gesture. "Wait! Wait, wait, wait. We are all honorable beings here. We did not intend to damage your ship. Please, we can help one another in this desperate plight." Her eyes narrowed at his words, body tense with distrust as she casts an unsure look toward Commander G'throkka.

"It is true we are all trapped. Cooperation is survival here. But you are...... outworlders." He finished his sentence with a roar.

"Everyone is an outworlder on a world not their own." The robot said, his logic painfully sound.

Still she remained on edge, not to be deterred by these simple words. They had crashed into our ship, robbed us of our potential victory against the Triceratons, and now they're hunting for the same irrulium that was needed for our own ships to take us back home. We couldn't possibly even consider working together with these potential foes! Surely not.
