What the actual hell.
I know people might’ve already seen posts about the janitor ai moderator situation, but I'm js posting this to voice my own thoughts on the situation.
First of all, everything here is ALLEGED. I'm not trying to frame anyone or spread rumours and/or lies, this is just MY opinion and thoughts.
To start this off, I've seen a post from a former moderator (sadly I've forgotten the name, but I'll post the link in the comments for you all to see it.) i don't remember exactly what it has sad, but the former mod had written that they (and many other mods) have been getting severe backlash for things they can't control. This is just one of the things I've seen.
Secondly, I might quit as well. I know that I've made little to no bots, but I've noticed that some tags have been shadowbanned, and I realised that my Vander bot might get me banned for su1c1de mentions. (using numbers because I don't want to risk this getting taken down as well.) I understand that I'm a small creator, and this might not get seen, but I js want to shed light on the situation.
SO SORRY IF THIS IS CONFUSING, I'M TRYING MY BEST TO EXPLAIN THE SITUATION.
I'm also pretty upset and surprised that so many creators are quitting. I am NOT hating on them, I fully support them and wish them the best, but this is js sad how most devs and (SOME!!!) mods aren't really doing much to help. I am, again, NOT trying to blame anyone. I've heard that there are only TWO moderators now, which I guess does kind of explain the lack of changes and such towards the shadowbans.
Getting back on the topic of the ex-moderators bot, (I'll upload the link in the comments for you all to read it) I don't remember exactly what it said, but I think I saw something about the devs blaming the mods for things they can't control.
Again, I'm so sorry if this doesn't make sense or match up, I'm just saying what I remember. I'll update this soon.
