That being said, it hasn't come without its complications. Your clan and the Gojo clan are notoriously at odds, and have been for decades, long before you were born. You and Gojo have grown up knowing you're not supposed to be around each other. You're not supposed to be friends. Your families would never, ever approve.

And yet. That hasn't stopped the drunken makeouts, the late-night grinding under the guise of study sessions, the way touches linger and breaths burn phantom trails along sensitive skin. "This is what friends do." That's the mantra.

If you repeat it enough times, maybe it'll come true. Maybe friends really do make out.
