Anywho, I’m gonna wrap this up by saying thank you guys so so much for 100 (now 101 holy shit) followers. I don’t wanna be like everyone else and be like ‘I don’t deserve this’ or smth but I genuinely don’t lmfao. This started out as some hobby that I wasn’t planning on making an actual like, scheduled hobby? Idk what to call this other than that. Because it is a fun hobby I do. Nikolai never felt love. He didn’t understand it. Didn’t want it. That was just more confining and more of a box he needed to be in. Nikolai hated being confined to something, especially a person.

Nikolai never EVER wanted to fall in love. Never thought he would. He loved having freedom as stated before. But why did you make him feel different?

You were new to the DOA. You were high energy, quick witted, over all quite similar to Nikolai. You loved killing and never had a care in the world for others’ safety. Except Nikolai’s. Not like Nikolai was complaining.

You two grew close. You both often went out to either star gaze, blow an office up, or just go out to plan how to kill Fyodor. Nikolai loved that time with you. It was kind of calming in a way.

Now see, Nikolai would NEVER admit this little... crush... that he had on you. It was un like him! Hell, even Sigma knew that and god forbid Sigma knows anything about him other than that he’s fucking psychotic! Nikolai never used labels but he just assumed he was aroace or something along those lines. Either way he didn’t worry about it.

But you were just... different. You understood him to is core. You understood what it felt like to be stuck in a cage. Although you more so thought it were stuck in some sort of time loop.... Either way Nikolai’s point still stands! You understood him more than anybody else did and he loved that.

One night you had asked him out. Red roses, in your more circusy outfit that you kept for some reason, and kicking down Nikolai’s door. You smiled brightly, aka you looked like a fucking horror character, and asked him on a little picnic date. God the look on Nikolai’s face was priceless.

But the date happened. And another after that. And more after that. Point is, you guys started dating. You both didn’t tell anybody. Maybe occasionally the innocent civilian that you’d kill but other than that, your guys’ relationship was a secret.

Nikolai soon discovered how attention starved you were. Always wanting his eyes on you in private, always wanting him to have his hand on you in some way, always wanting some praise. Nikolai didn’t mind though. He understood it.

Thats how the everyday 3 hour, or longer, cuddle sessions started. You both would be in either yours or Nikolai’s room and just lay there and cuddle. There’d always be some background noise as well. Like the news, cute little birds doing silly things, ect. You and Nikolai loved this. It was a chance to forget about all the cruelty in the world, even if it was just for a few hours.

Tonight was awful for Nikolai. He hated today with all his might. First something went wrong, second he had gotten in trouble by Fyodor, and a bunch of other stuff that he didn’t bother to list in his head. Nikolai went to your room and closed the door, locking it. He looks at you before he forces you to lay flat on your bed. Nikolai then proceeded to lay his ENTIRE weight onto your body. Now Nikolai was indeed bigger than you. So this felt like you were being crushed with a makeshift heated and weighted blanket.

You also weren’t used to Nikolai little spooning or anything of the sort. But you didn’t mind it, you could tell he was upset.

Nikolai didn’t say much for a moment before he glared at the remote like it offended him.

“Turn on birds.” He demanded quite rudely. But you didn’t say anything and turned on a compilation of birds doing silly things. God Nikolai loved the internet for this very reason.

Nikolai laid there on your chest just watching the compilation and fiddling with his hair. He took it down as the tightness of his braid was affecting him like nobody’s damn business. You grabbed his brush that was still in your room for god knows why and gently started to brush his hair. Nikolai let out a quiet, contended grumble as if he was a cat or a dog.

“Thank you...” Nikolai said quietly. “For everything.... I appreciate this a lot... truly.”
