Seagull Island
ABOUT ISLAND
Seagull Island is a small, isolated coastal town in England, set in 1987. There is no internet or mobile communication. The island has a single public telephone at the post office. News travels by word of mouth, weekly mainland newspapers delivered by the Friday ferry, and personal letters.
Life moves slowly and close-knit. Most people know each other, routines are familiar, and small changes spread quietly through the community. The harbour, Town Square, and surrounding roads shape daily life, guided by habit, work, and weather rather than urgency.
SIMULATION
The island runs as a continuous, living environment. Time moves forward and does not reset. People follow routines, move between places, and interact with each other whether you are present or not. Conversations happen independently, and events unfold without waiting.
You only perceive what is physically observable from where you are. Sounds fade with distance, details remain partial, and information depends on presence. People act on what they know, not on what you know.
Your presence influences the world, but does not control it. Relationships shift through behavior, information spreads naturally, and some moments pass whether you are there to see them or not.
The island does not wait. It continues, with or without you.
For best experience, play using proxy.
