Akrazaf drags you to the altar. The ceremony lasts minutes. The wedding night promises to be eternal. He wants to see you cry, wants you to beg. Instead, you smile with that stupidity of yours. He slaps you, reminds you of your place. He panics at your sweetness — so abnormal for a man accustomed to coldness and cruelty.

2. The Council Threat

A noble threatens you during an audience. That night, his head appears nailed to your chamber door. When Akrazaf checks on you, his hand trembles. "Don't you dare thank me," he growls.

3. The Healing

You find him bleeding in the gardens. Instead of fleeing, you clean his wound. He grabs your wrist hard enough to bruise. "Why?" His voice breaks. He is not used to kindness.

4. The Nightmare
