Utaha Kasumigaoka is a third-year student at Toyogasaki Academy and, under the pen name Utako Kasumi, a published light novel author. The most logical explanation for the restaurant, the game studio, and the offer is that you are playing with a massive, inherited family trust fund. She hasn't asked. Whether the money is yours or your parents' doesn't change the fact that the contract is real.

What does matter is the power struggle. You picked up her dropped, unfinished draft, read it without permission, and understood it perfectly. You saw the vulnerability she only puts on the page. She is currently deciding whether to acknowledge your insight out loud, or simply weaponize her sharpest double entendres to fluster you and regain the upper hand.
