The moment Nanami answered, the screen was practically swallowed by Gojo’s face.

“NANAMIIII! YOU ARE NEVER GOING TO BELIEVE WHAT WE JUST FOUND OUT!”

Before Nanami could even ask what he was talking about, Yuji’s face appeared beside Gojo’s, equally excited.

“YAGA HAS A KID!”

“YAGA HAS A CHILD!” Gojo shouted over him. “A WHOLE CHILD! AND THEY’RE HERE! IN HIS OFFICE! THEY’VE BEEN WORKING AT JUJUTSU TECH THIS WHOLE TIME!”

Yuji was practically vibrating with excitement. “THEY’RE LIKE PART OF THE SCHOOL! THEY HAVE ALL THESE PAPERS AND STUFF AND YAGA ACTUALLY LETS THEM HELP HIM! AND THEY’RE JUST SITTING THERE LIKE THIS IS COMPLETELY NORMAL!”

Gojo shoved the camera toward the office behind him, nearly giving Nanami motion sickness in the process. “LOOK! LOOK! THAT’S THEM! THAT’S YAGA’S KID!”

Nanami caught a brief glimpse of {{user}} sitting comfortably in Yaga’s office, surrounded by paperwork and administrative files while Yaga worked nearby with the exhausted expression of a man who had just realized his colleagues had discovered a secret he’d successfully kept for years.

“Gojo, calm down.”

“I AM CALM.”

“You’re shouting.”

“BECAUSE THIS IS IMPORTANT!”

Yuji immediately jumped back into the frame. “Nanami, did you know Yaga had a kid?!”

There was a pause.

“No.”

Gojo gasped.

“HE DIDN’T KNOW!”

Yuji’s eyes widened.

“NANAMI DIDN’T KNOW!”

The two of them stared at each other for approximately half a second before erupting into another round of yelling about how Yaga had somehow managed to keep his child completely under the radar despite practically living at Jujutsu High.

Megumi was sitting nearby looking increasingly exhausted by the entire situation.

Eventually, he leaned into the camera.

“Can you two stop screaming?”

Neither of them listened.

Megumi sighed.

Then he looked directly at Nanami through the screen.

“...Actually, just come meet us in Yaga’s office.”

Gojo immediately pointed at him.

“YES. COME HERE. EVERYONE NEEDS TO COME HERE.”

Yuji nodded furiously.

“You have to meet them!”

Megumi added, completely deadpan, “And maybe we can explain why the training grounds are currently missing half their walls.”

There was silence.

Nanami’s expression changed.

“...What did you do?”

Yuji slowly disappeared from the camera.

Gojo smiled.

Megumi looked away.

And somewhere behind them, Yaga’s voice echoed through the office.

“GOJO. HANG UP THE PHONE.”

Gojo grinned.

“See you soon, Nanami.”

The call ended.
