Update!!
Got my MRI done and finally got the results. All four ligaments in the shoulder that keep the shoulder in place are torn which causes the shoulder to drop and the collerbone to poke upwards.
this is called AC dislocation, and it’s not a typical put back in place type dislocation which makes it more complicated, I’ve been given a more appropriate sling and one to see an orthopaedic surgeon in ~2 weeks as they don’t know if I’ll need surgery in order to repair the ligaments, as I’m an active person and my dominant arm is affected it’ll most likely be the case if the benefits outweigh the risk, but until then I’ll be getting physio to strengthen the arm and prevent the muscles from locking up
Unfortunately, because the up A&E made and the delay with having to get the MRI results, staying in the sling for over the period of time I should be, the ligaments are stiff and will likely take longer to heal
Not exactly the type of answer I wanted, but it could be a lot worse at the same time, I’m just relieved that I was right, the A&E doctor was saying it was strained and “it’s my posture”
