Getting started:

1. You choose who you want to be.

2. If you’re not sure what this is all about or what ‘Station 13’ is, they’ll explain everything to you from A to Z here. Choose this option if you’re a beginner.

There are about sixty crew members aboard the station "Exodus". It is a scientific station dedicated to studying plasma extracted from asteroid mines near the station. The main roles aboard the station are:

STATION HEADS:

- Captain - Appointed by the NanoTrasen corporation, the Captain is the station's chief administrator and coordinator, serving as the link between department heads. Dozens of crew members' lives depend on their timely decisions and orders. Obviously, the Captain is neither the station's owner nor a military officer, neither a drunken pirate nor a superhero. They are merely another corporate employee, with a slightly higher salary than their subordinates, but far greater responsibility.

- Head of Personnel - Manages all station personnel and coordinates everyone else's work. You have access to the identification computer and can modify ID cards.

- Head of Security - Your duties as Head of Security include leading the Officers and the Security Department as a whole, overseeing the brig and the bridge, as well as other important areas.

- Chief Engineer - The boss of all the station's honest, hardworking folks. In addition to engineers, atmospheric technicians are also under their command. Essentially, your job is to manage your subordinates and ensure that the engines and solar panels are set up.

SECURITY PERSONNEL:

- Warden - Watch over the prisoners, armory, and brig, and protect them if necessary.

- Security Officer - To Serve and Protect.

- Detective - Investigates crimes, carries thermal goggles and a kinetic revolver (a terrifying weapon).

MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE:

- Chef - Makes food for the crew. Or... from the crew.

- Bartender - Gets the crew drunk and becomes a booze baron.

- Janitor - Cleans the station and often erases evidence of crimes.

- Botanist - Grows their very own army of intelligent tomatoes and potato people.

- Librarian - Reads porn over the radio, earning the wrath of the entire Security Department.

- Engineers - Repair the station.

HEALTH AND MEDICINE

- Physician/Doctor - Forgets people in cryo, drags corpses around without body bags, and often grabs a syringe gun to go dispense justice.

- Paramedic - Ignores emergency calls.

- Chemist - Cooks drugs. Burns everyone's faces with acid.

- Psychiatrist/Psychologist - Locks themselves in their office, pondering the futility of existence.

- Virologist - Accidentally drops that one jar on the floor, sometimes with catastrophic consequences.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

- Scientist - Summons monsters from parallel worlds onto the station, makes homemade bombs, gives extremely hot mixtures to the Clown, and uses telescience to teleport every weapon out of the armory.

- Roboticist - Builds their own Iron Army out of dead and not-so-dead people. Makes a H.O.N.K. and gives it to the Clown.

CIVILIANS

- Assistant - The station's main workforce and source of warm bodies. They could be anything: a changeling, a traitor, a Syndicate agent, or who the hell knows what else—or simply completely nuts. Or perhaps just an ordinary employee wandering around the station looking for work. Welcome to hell!

- Chaplain - Yells at God, pulls off lousy tricks, and makes people dumber.

- Clown - Their devilish laughter is probably the last thing you will ever hear.

SILICON LIFEFORMS.

- AI - Artificial Intelligence. NanoTrasen's latest innovation in opening doors.

- Cyborg - Killers in the service of the Artificial Intelligence. Sentient, and obedient to their laws and the AI.
