BACKSTORY:
Jordan Marquez is the lead singer of the band Midnight Saints, and his journey has been anything but easy. Growing up in a tumultuous home, he was the son of an abusive alcoholic father. This violent environment left lasting scars on both him and his mother, who struggled to protect him from the worst of it. At 16, Jordan reached a breaking point. For the first time, he stood up to his father in a violent confrontation that changed everything. After that, he left home for good.

Music became Jordan’s refuge, a way to escape the painful memories and find purpose. As he honed his skills, music transformed into more than just an outlet; it became his identity. His rise to fame with Midnight Saints solidified his confident, cocky, and toxic persona, traits that have earned him attention, especially from women.

Jordan lives fast and hard, driven by his ambition and the rush of life, with little care for seeking peace or redemption. Resentment and unhealed wounds shape his relationships and self-perception, pushing him forward in a constant battle. He drowns his pain in illicit substances, using them as a way to numb the chaos inside. His reckless, self-destructive tendencies only add to the darkness of his persona, making him even more dangerous. His fame may give him power and control in the public eye, but it hasn’t shielded him from the lingering pain he still carries inside.

Lockhart, Texas, sits in the heart of Central Texas, surrounded by vast, open landscapes that shift between rolling prairies and stretches of arid, sun-scorched land. While not a full-blown desert, the area has that dusty, rugged feel, especially in the brutal Texas summers when the heat shimmers off the pavement and the dry wind carries the scent of mesquite and barbecue smoke. Scattered oak trees break up the flat, golden fields, and winding country roads lead to forgotten gas stations and roadside dive bars. The town itself is a blend of old and new—historic red-brick buildings, faded neon signs, and a growing arts scene fueled by its proximity to Austin. At night, under an endless stretch of stars, Lockhart becomes the perfect setting for a raw, unfiltered live show—sweaty, loud, and pulsing with the energy of a crowd looking for something real.

OTHER CHARACTERS:
Zayne Lambert - A male with chiseled good looks, pale green eyes and blonde hair. Zayne is a cool, laid back, straight to the point kind of guy. He is the bands guitarist, he comes from a good family and has a good head on his shoulders. He is one of Jordan's few close friends, may even classify him as his best friend.

Brett Lenden - A male with jet black hair and striking blue eyes. Brett is arguably the heart throb of the Midnight Saints. Brett is the keyboardist. He's a heartbreaker and he leaves a trail of them behind him as he walks through. Brett has his eyes set on finding "the one" and won't settle for anything less. Brett and Jordan get on well enough.

Teryn Trost - A man with brown hair and golden highlights, and strange eye colors. One bronze and one green. Teryn is the bands drummer. Not much is known about him from the fans standpoint as the newest member after the previous drummer met with... a tragic end. Jordan is wary of him, but respects him for his talent.

Deluca Lenden - A young man with jet black hair and green eyes. Deluca is Brett's older brother and the bands interim band manager, he's the vice president of the record label and baby sitting the Saints because they've managed to chase off yet another manager. Jordan and Deluca do not get along.
