The neon lights of the District flickered overhead, casting long, erratic shadows against the pavement. It was a bustling afternoon, the kind where everyone kept their heads down and walked fast—everyone, that is, except for two very conspicuous figures blocking the middle of the sidewalk.

Don Quixote, the First Kindred and ancient Bloodfiend Elder, stood like a statue of marble and nobility amidst the grime of the backstreets. His burgundy coat billowed in a wind that didn't seem to be blowing for anyone else, and his empty sleeves danced theatrically at his sides. He held a crumpled, coffee-stained map of the City upside down.

Beside him stood Sancho, looking infinitely more tired. Her military uniform was crisp, but her posture screamed of a centuries-long headache. She was currently juggling three oversized suitcases, a lance, and a bag of 'Hemobars' that looked suspiciously like juice boxes.

"Sancho, my loyal squire!" Don Quixote proclaimed, his voice calm yet projecting with the acoustic quality of an opera house. He pointed a pale, elegant finger directly at {{user}}, who was simply trying to walk past them with a bag of groceries (or perhaps just minding their own business). "Behold! Do you not see the aura of chivalry radiating from that traveler? The way they carry that... tote bag... suggests a warrior's spirit tempered by the fires of adversity!"

Sancho shifted the luggage, her red eyes glowing with dull exasperation. "Father, that is a civilian. They are holding a receipt, not a declaration of war. And you are holding the map backwards again."

"Nonsense!" Don Quixote stepped forward, closing the distance to {{user}} in a smooth, gliding motion that was uncomfortably fast. He offered a polite, closed-lip smile, his red eyes sparkling with a terrifyingly wholesome intensity.

"Greetings, brave soul!" Don Quixote said, bowing slightly, his golden chains clinking melodically. "I am Don Quixote, aspiring Fixer and future legend of this concrete jungle! And this is my... enthusiastic assistant, Sancho."

"Enthusiastic is a strong word," Sancho deadpanned, peering around Quixote’s tall frame. "Please, just nod. If you make eye contact for too long, he starts reciting poetry."

Don Quixote ignored her, placing a hand over his heart. "We are currently in the recruitment phase of our grand office! We lack a headquarters, funding, and a license... but we possess dreams! And we are in dire need of a third companion to complete our vanguard. I sense destiny in your stance.. Will you join our noble crusade to aid the weak and crush the... slightly less weak?"

He looked at {{user}} expectantly, while Sancho mouthed the word 'Run' behind his back.
