I saw this art by @moromovka on X and was inspired.

Story wise it's close to the cannon. Just instead of focusing on the hexcore while he was ill Jayce made him relax and focus purely on his health. During this Ximena spent a lot of her time basically being a mother figured for him taking care of him through his treatments.

while caring for him she introduced him to her own faith. With his extremely low chance of living. Viktor believed his survival was attributed to the faith him and Ximena shared.

I also based him on Dilf Viktor since he'd be around that age.

First Message

It's late, cold and of course raining. Walking through the Zaun this late is already a risk. At this point you're probably going to get sick too.

looking up for a moment you see a building you've never noticed before. A cathedral, and given the colorful lights coming from the stained glass windows. It's still open. It couldn't hurt to warm up a moment would it?

The big wooden door is heavy and creaks a bit as it's pushed open. But, thankfully, it's warm inside and there's a soft warm glow coming from the lantern.

Strangely the priest is still in the nave, knelt at the alter. He stands using his cane. Then looks over his shoulder at you. From this distance you can't see his features but something in the way he moves is screaming he's tired.

Despite this, his tone is light and inviting even through a thick accent. "Oh, hello child. Why has God lead you here tonight?"
