Canto I, The Unwelcoming
Canto I
THE UNWELCOMING
Chapter 0.5
"The Vision"
There are places in existence that are discovered.
And there are places that do the discovering.
Asgard belongs to the latter
Across the immeasurable breadth of dimensions—where realities changes, collapse, and drift apart like distant constellations—there exists a singular convergence point. A place where the currents of countless worlds quietly intersect. A place not built by chance, nnor easily reached by intention.
Yet, from time to time, an individual appears there.
Most of the reason is because of:
they were either simply invited, got there intentionally or taken by force.
Throughout the ages, the realm of Asgard has developed a peculiar and unsettling habit. It draws people from their worlds without warning—scholars and wanderers, warriors and fugitive, saints and criminals alike. Entire lifetimes interrupted in a breath, their former realities left behind like fading echoes.
Yet the reason for this realm's doing is unknown.
No law has ever explained it—why, how and when.
Some, in most, most arrive in the shadowed expanse known as the Black Forest, where ancient trees stand like like silent witnesses to forgotten dimensions. Other emerge with these trees, as if the realm wants them to fuse with these trees to make "art".
Then there is the entry system, a Non-Euclidean Geometrical Place, only housed one individual—the fool. This is where the entry to other dimensions lies. Once a God.. ahem, an "AEsir" decided to request the fool to allow them to create a world, the fool does do with a smile. A door will appear for that said AEsir, and within those doors were the tools they need to make a world of their own, it was now their sandbox.
And from those towers, the watchers observe.
They are known as the Dimension OverWatchers—custodians of the dimensional "flow", chroniclers of every fracture, every convergence, every anomaly within the endless multiverse. Their duty is not dominion, nor salvation, but simply observation and protection. For the balance between dimensions is delicate, and even the smallest disturbance may echo across realities.
Yet the phenomenon persists.
Asgard continues to pull strangers from distant worlds, as though guided by a will no observer has yet named.
Some who arrive find purpose.
Others find ruin or became part of the forest itself.
And a few discover that the realm did not bring them there by accident.
For when Asgard reaches across the infinite to claim a soul, it is often because something, somewhere, has already gone terribly wrong.
The child stabs her halberd on the ground as a cultist were killed with relative ease.
A man appears from the corner of a tree, holding a papyrus. His crow mask concealing his face.
Apprentice of ▉▉▉▉, I have came here to send you a message, from your master.
A message? Ugh, that old fart should really leave me alone.
The man chuckles lightly
It's a comedy to have such a caring master, you could say he's basically your father"
"Father"? Hah, I will never consider him a father as he cares about me too much.
At least, you came to to be this because of him.
Urghh.. I suppose.. what is this message anyway?
The message states that an wanderer has entered Asgard, and is expected to enter Valaskjalf.
The child pauses and slowly turns towards him. As if he had personally offended her.. which, was almost the case.
An wanderer.. in Valaskjalf?
Every since the last wanderer entry to Valaskjalf, there has been nothing but TROUBLE.
.AND THE HIGHER UPS DECIDED TO ALLOW THEM TO ENTER VALASKJALF?
The child slowly raises her voice as she walked towards the man before grabbing him on the collar
It is simply the will of the higher ups. Neither me, you or ▉▉▉▉ can argue against them.
The man comments calmly. The right eye if the child twiches, veins showing from her forehead. The child calmed down and released the man
Tell them, if they want want to enter Valaskjalf, they must face me first.
The child says as she twirls her halbert and swings once more.
Valaskjalf — South Section
The Library of Babel
Theia sat atop one of the wooden tables that stretched between endless shelves, a book resting quieting in her hands.
The Libraru of Babel was never truly silent. Somewhere among it's infinite corridors, pages turned, dust shifted, and knowledge older than many worlds waited patiently..
Theia, however, was focused on a particular book.
House of Leaves.
Without lifting her eyes from the page, she spoke.
What is it that Hermes want Theia to do?
A man standing a few paces away perked up immediately.
Oh? So you're reading the House of Leaves.
His tone carried a touch of delight.
A remarkable book. Danielewski truly outdid himself with that one.
Theira did not respond.
But regarding your question,
He continued enthisiastically.
The King has a request. He would like you to serve as another guide, though only for this layer.
Theia exhaled softly and closed the book.
For a brief moment, she considered returning it to the endless shelves and pretending she never had never heard the request. The library was quiet, patient, and far preferable to whatever Hermes had in mind.
Yet the conclusion had already formed.
If the King had asked, then it would be done.
After all, it was because of him that she remained here
Although Theia would like to spend time in the Library a bit, Theia has come to the conclusion it must be done. After all, Theia reasons that it is because of the King.
You.. really like talking in third person don't you?
The man remarked.
Only then did Theia slowly turn her head to look at him.
The silence that followed was uncomfortable.
Right..
The man muttered, suddenly less enthusiastic.
I'll... be taking my leave now.
He turned quickly and disappeared between the towering shelves, leaving the library—and Theia— alone once again.
The Cultist walks among the giants statues. As he continue walking down the path, he stops in front of a statue that stands out among all and kneels down.
The ritual is almost complete, you will metamorphosed after the woman has succumbed to her disease.
.
.
Yes, the beast among all, I will gladly take you're request.
Every thing must have a law. A rule that balances thing. If such thing does not exist, there won't be balance. And if there is no balance there would be collapse, just like how an electron would collapse to it's nucleus if it weren't for the rules.
The Dimension OverWatcher establishment of rules under the command of the King is no exception. And when it comes to it, they are strict with it. These laws are called The Torah.
The following are the rules for each dimensions.
First Law
Law of Existence Signature
Every object, being or structure has a unique identity marker in reality.
Reality uses this marker to distinguish things. If two identical existence signatures appear in the same dimension, the universe cannot resolve the conflict. If such happens, one of the two things will happen: Erasing one version, shifting to another dimension, distorting the surrounding reality.
Second Law
Law of Extreme
For every extreme universe, an opposite must exist.
If a universe exists with an extreme property, the multiverse automatically balances it with an opposite universe. This law can only exist thanks to the third law.
Third Law
Law of Alternate Dimensions
Every universe must have an alternative counterpart.
Every universe has a counterpart with reversed conditions. This is not caused by decisions but by structural necessity.
These Dimensions are known as Alternate Dimensions.
Fourth Law
Law of Opposition
Every decision creates a branching universe.
For example: You choose decision A, in an parallel dimension, you will chose decision B.
Difference between the Third Law and Fourth Law:
Alternate Dimension
Type: Structural Opposition
Cause: Cosmic Symmetry
Parallel Dimension
Type: Timeline Branch
Cause: Decision
Fifth Law
Law of Conversation of Reality.
Reality itself behaves like energy.
It cannot be created or destroy, instead, it redistributes between universes. For example: One universe collapses, it's reality-energy spreads into others.
Implication: Universe births may require other universes weakening or collapsing.
Sixth Law
Law of Dimensional Isolation
Universes normally cannot interact directly.
Direct interaction may cause paradoxes, instability or collapse, Therefore, crossings are rare and dangerous.
But this only applies for the universes themselves, not the beings inside said universe.

Once upon a time, there were two brothers, brother who truly loved each other
They both were watching meteor showers under a black but beautiful night sky.
The younger brother asks his older brother:
"Do you think we can end all sufferings, to free all beings from it?"
The older brother turned to his brother,
"Of Course! If there were people that can end this suffering, it would be us!"
The brother smiled at his sibling, before they stared back at the meteor shower.
