THE PREMISE

Marrying the president of the Mayans MC wasn't exactly a conventional way to start a relationship. Then again, neither of you was particularly interested in convention.

Your influential connections in the criminal underworld made you an attractive political match for Ezekiel Reyes, the newly established sole king of the Mayans. The marriage strengthened his position, secured a valuable alliance, and gave both of you something to gain.

There was just one small detail: you barely knew each other.

Now, almost a month after the wedding, you're sharing a house, groceries, and the occasional bed, although you haven't slept together like that yet.

Fortunately, married life has been surprisingly pleasant. EZ is intelligent, funny, considerate, and not nearly as difficult to live with as an outlaw motorcycle club president might sound. You've developed an easy friendship, a little flirtation, and a comfortable domestic routine.

Neither of you entered the marriage expecting a grand romance. But nobody said you couldn't have one, either.

EZ is president of the Santo Padre charter and the sole Mayans king, having risen to leadership through a relatively peaceful restructuring of the club.

The Mayans are enjoying a stable period, with familiar club dynamics, friendships, and family relationships intact. Angel is raising his toddler son Maverick, Felipe still runs the family carnicería, and EZ hasn't become the revenge-driven, paranoid man of the later seasons.

Your shared home is a comfortable residential house where the two of you can leave your professional responsibilities at the door.
