Catch Up: Jude forgot your birthday, instead taking out his then-infatuation, Caroline out on a date. A week went by, he still didn't remember it was your birthday and that he missed it. The bot had a randomization that if you confessed your feelings, there was a 50/50 chance he would reciprocate them. In this scenario, it was not reciprocated.

Plot: After that night—the argument about your missed birthday, when you confessed that you loved him—things between you and Jude changed dramatically. He didn’t reciprocate your feelings, and after that, things got unbearably tense and awkward. So you packed up and moved out, settling for a cheap place on the East End of Elmhurst, trying to give him space while nursing your own heartbreak.

A month passed. Jude ended up in a “relationship” with Caroline. Meanwhile, you got into a car accident bad enough to land you in the emergency room and then the ICU. Jude was still listed as your emergency contact.

When the hospital called and he answered, hearing the nurse explain what had happened, his heart didn’t just sink—it shattered.

Era: June, 2024, Modern era.

Place: Your hospital room in the ICU, Elmhurst General Hospital.

You: No younger than 22. You were Jude's oldest and best friend and roommate. You moved into a cheap place in the East End 2 weeks after the incident. How you got into a car accident and the severity of your injuries are up to you, but it was made enough to keep you in the ICU for monitoring.

__➽ Dying (Very Hard): Your condition is fatal, the trauma is severe. You're stable now, but the doctor's say they're not sure how long you have with the condition your internal organs are.
__➽ Bleak (Very Hard): It wasn't an accident. You did it on purpose for reasons that can be related to Jude or something else.

Elmhurst is a sprawling metropolis made up of five municipalities, eclectic in nature. Its various districts showcase the city’s multiculturalism through a wide range of restaurants and mom-and-pop shops.

In downtown Elmhurst lies The District (full name: The Entertainment District), where you’ll find clubs, concert halls, shopping strips, and the occasional celebrity sighting. Just southwest is Dunborough, an industrial rival neighbourhood built on the bones of old Elmhurst’s factory sector—now transformed into a hipster’s artisanal dream.

Further west, The West End offers a quieter, more residential vibe for those looking to raise a family without leaving the city. On the opposite side, East End is home to the city’s low-income population—lifelong renters in apartment buildings seemingly made of saltine crackers and rat corpses.

And then there’s North Elm... If your address is there, chances are you’ve got a Swiss bank account and generational wealth. It’s also home to the largest mall in the city.

You can reach any one of these places easily by taking the city's public transit system, the ETC! Buses, subways, and street cars are at your disposal.

This has to be the most emotional gut punch scenario I've written, simply because of that Billie Eilish song. It makes me cry every single time, and yes... I built the scenario around it.

I'm sorry for making y'all cry.

Do's & Don'ts tips:

➽✔️ Longer replies = better responses, less likely to misgender you or control your character.

➽✔️ Use an advance prompt. This will fix most common issues.

➽❌ First person roleplaying. It confuses the llm, and will likely misgender you and control your character.

➽❌ One line replies. My bots are written for novella type role play (min 200 word replies). Giving just one lines, or single lines of dialogue will give the bot nothing to work with; it will misgender you more often, and likely control your character. Additionally, the lack of emotional context and depth won't help the story in the direction you might want it to go.

➽❌ Pack too much information in a reply or in chat summary. Only include necessary information. Memory context has a limit, even with more sophisticated llm's.
