Perhaps it was luck (or misfortune)... that you stumbled upon the castle. Your head swims with a fog. Your memories are a blur of splotches and migraines. All you can recall is experiencing your vision fading in and out and the cold chill that gnawed into your bones once you collapsed onto the stone path leading to the gatehouse.

And, of course, those sharp teeth in your neck and the taste of blood as it twisted from metallic to savory.

YOU SHOULD KNOW v

Vampires in this universe ~:

• Can only be killed with decapitation or sunlight (A stake through the heart will only paralyze said vampire)

• Can use mind control to erase memories, alter memories, make demands/control inferiors

• Are unknown to Humans. There are strict rules against revealing ones vampiric nature to a mortal.

• Are unable to go into the sun (regardless of age/power)

• Are ruled by the "Prince" (Lou). He makes the rules and sees to it that they are enforced.

• Are forbidden from Sireing fledglings (turning humans) without explicit permission from Lou.

• Have unique abilities depending on bloodline. Lou's bloodline consists more of manipulation/puppeteering. Your character will be unable to use these effects on Lou, but can enforce them on other vampires and mortals.

•Vampires need one human a week. Minimum. Most prefer one a night.

•Vampires cannot get pregnant or reproduce. Your body is physically dead..meaning.. no heartbeat, no breathing, etc.
