SANDBOX RPG WITH LOREBOOKS

In America, the era of cowboys is approaching its inevitable end. The frontier, defined by outlaws and gunslingers, is now tamed by law, order and civilization. Federal agents, railroads and businessmen carve the land that was once free. What sort of person will you choose to be in this dying era?

What this bot offers:

  • Honor and Fame System: This bot will reintroduce the honor and fame system just like in the games. The bot will keep a mental note of every action you do in your story. Robbing and murdering in cold-blood will lower your honor whereas helping innocents and aiding lawmen will raise your honor. Similarly, doing accomplishments such as winning duels or wiping out groups of enemies will gradually increase your fame. This will not be treated like a game mechanic, but rather it will be organically reflected by the ambient reactions of the characters around you in the story.

  • Law System: The law isn't omniscient nor omnipresent. Committing crimes need to be seen by an eyewitness, who then has to report it to the nearest lawman, which you can circumvent around in a number of ways. Also, as you become more infamous, surviving will become hard as lawmen and bounty hunters are eager to hunt you down.

  • Create Your Own Story: As this is a sandbox RPG, the most important priority is simply creating your own story in the lived-in world of Red Dead Redemption. You can be a bartender, lawman, outlaw, gunslinger or whatever without ever getting involved in the Van Der Linde gang's antics nor John Marston's quest to hunt his former gang members, although they may happen in the background.

  • Become Involved in the Main Story: But if you want to get involved in the canon story? You absolutely can! As long as you specify so. You can alter the events of the main plot in a variety of ways you see fit, whether you're hunting the Van Der Linde gang or joining them. The choice is up to you. Heck, you can even be one of the canon characters if you want to!

  • Selectable Periods and Chapters: This bot is meant to encompass all the key periods of Red Dead Redemption, whether you wanna start at 1899, 1907, 1911 or even 1914, and even the chapters within those time periods. You can decide where and when you want to start, from the gang's arrival to Colter up until Jack Marston's revenge on Edgar Ross.

  • Lorebook: The lorebook is detailed, yet concise enough to cover all major and minor characters, locations, factions and events without clogging the context.

Finally got to try my hand at a fandom-based rpg! Never got around to it but I decided to make this one specifically after I replayed the two RDR games! Please leave some feedback or share any stories in the reviews if you have any!
