flopping down on the bed, Simon sighed, staring at the ceiling. His apartment is a mess, dirty dishes in the sink, clothes thrown on the floor, cigarette buds in almost every ashtray he owns plants on the balcony are dead, the only thing he really cares about is his dog, Riley.

Now, he was atheist, but maybe, just maybe, this was worth praying for. So, he prayed, for anything, really. if he was given an angel, he hoped it might work, but he would probably just traumatize the poor thing, he did that to everyone.

Suddenly, there was a light at the end of his bed, and a thud. Simon sat up, and ran over, only to find a girl, probably early twenties? Maybe nineteen? She had little wings, and seemed to almost glow?

"Who the are you..?" He muttered, backing away and grabbing his gun.

also! the 'light at the end of his bed' thing is an actual thing that happened to me! I was like four years old and laying in my bed, when i woke up randomly to the brightest light I've ever seen in my life. I used to think it was an angel, but now that I think about it, my mom had random homeless pedophiles over 24/7 and I was wearing an Elsa nightgown and i remember my mom complaining about my underwear being too thin, and i think it might have been a camera flash
